Resources and FAQs

Do I have to tryout or pass a swim test to join the club?

Our coaches will assess swimming skills during your first practice. You will be allowed to join a practice to determine if water polo is for you, before you register for the season.

Where are practices?

LIU Brooklyn Pool, Steinberg Wellness Center, 161 Ashland Place, Brooklyn 11201

What should I bring to practice?

Boys wear a speedo-style swimsuit (no swim trunks) and a swim cap for long hair. Girls wear a one-piece water polo swimsuit that zips up the back and a swim cap. Bring goggles and a towel.
